Clearly there are different levels of theft. This varies from pinching a sweet from the pick' n'mix stand (which we have all done) and robing a bank. Under the terms of the Theft Act 1968 theft can be robbery, burglary and removal of articles from places to the public. This outlines all the different forms of theft so that the police and government can refer to it.

With society today, stealing is the easy option. Many people steal to 'get by' or because of peer pressure issues. It is obviously bad to steal and the Bible reffers to it 'Thou shalt not steal'.
this is still a big topic in todays society because it happens everywhere,we may not see this or know this but it still happens,statistics are still really high for theft !
