In Response to Racine's Blog on Bandits.

Racine raised a good point about how Robin Hood was deemed as 'good' because he stole from the rich to give to the poor. Also it is confusing to study how something that is bad to one is good to another. I believe that life follows a parallel, in which when one is happy another is not. This fits with the hero and bandit theme.7

The article bellow found by Racine puts this idea in to context very well. The man was clearly protecting his property and his family, this 'hero' is now being treated as a bandit. The Times describes him as 'courageous' which I'm sure many of us would agree.
